::Declaration of Intent::

A Jedi Organization brings enough questions in itself. To be tied to entire Community brings even more. And to stand against said community, even more questions. Whether new to the idea of Jedi Philosophy or a veteran of real Jedi training. This is a Declaration of Intent. So there can be no misunderstanding what this place is for and what our intentions are.

1.) Futurus Optimus - Latin, a motto of my Jedi mentor. It means, To Be Best. That is the intent of the Jedi Foundation, not to be different, but to be the best. The best in training, standards, vision, accomplishments. The Jedi Foundation will continually bring the best of what the Jedi Community has to offer in training, standards, and content.

2.) Preservation of Our History - To long has our past gone undocumented. Or at least properly documented. We reinvent the wheel time and time again. The Jedi Community is living proof that if you do not learn from the past you are doomed to repeat it. The Jedi Foundation is and will be a leader in Jedi History and preservation. Let us not forget where we came from, but aspire to forward from it.

3.) No 'isms' - The Jedi Foundation will be a stark contrast to the misconceptions of Jediism and Jedi Realism. We will stand alone in the midst of those that would insult our Path, the ideals we hold ourselves too, and the very name we carry to represent how we live. Likewise we will offer a new lifestyle, a new ideology, for people to follow should they deem it worthy; Jedi. We will not conform to an ism, but instead stand and say we are all Jedi.

4.) No Segregation - We shall welcome all individuals who wish to pursue the Jedi Path. No one shall be discriminated against regardless of Race, Religion, Sex, Sexual Preferences, or Political views. We are all Jedi and that is what matters. No one shall be shunned from the Jedi Path if they truly want to follow it. Likewise we will not create divisions because of our differences, but embrace our diversity. Again standing together as individuals who say, we are Jedi, that is all that matters.

5.) To Stay True to the Path - While we may progress, update, and advance the lessons, methods, and media, the core ideals stay the same. The Lessons, Ethics, Ideals of the Jedi have been the same for years, across all organizations. And we seek to preserve that core of the Jedi Path.

The Jedi Foundation is dedicated to these goals. Our mission is still Jedi-driven, such as focusing on the Five Goals of the Jedi. Yet this is why we are different in a community full of mirrors. We are elitists because we demand a Jedi acts as a Jedi. That they live by the ideals they preach. The life of a Jedi is not for everyone, but we welcome all to explore it.
